As the owner of Smoky Hill Appraisal, I welcome you to my website. I am a certified general real estate appraiser in the state of Kansas, and I have been in the appraisal industry since 2015. Previously, I worked for two well respected real estate appraisal companies; one in Des Moines, Iowa and one in Liberal, Kansas.
I have completed all necessary appraisal education through the Appraisal Institute and American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers.
I have experience appraising a wide variety of property types, both commercial and agricultural. I am a practicing affiliate with the Appraisal Institute and pursuing the MAI designation.

Emma Ricker
Certified General Real Estate Appraiser Trainee
Emma is an appraiser trainee and is in the process of obtaining her certified general license in the near future. She has completed all the necessary coursework and is currently obtaining the necessary experience hours. Emma primarily focuses on agricultural real estate.
Emma is a graduate of Kansas State University, Agricultural Economics with a specialty in Farm and Ranch Management. Emma has prior appraisal experience working for Gustin Appraisal, LLC. She also previously worked for Silver Spur Ranches in Colorado. Emma has a farming/ranching background having grown up on a farm/ranch near Ellinwood, Kansas. She currently resides in Hay, Kansas.
